Built on Real Trading Experience
We started flowchainnet in 2019 because we were tired of trading courses that taught theory but never actually traded. Our founders spent years in the trenches, making mistakes and learning what actually works in trend trading.
What began as a small study group in Suwon grew into something bigger. People kept asking us to share what we'd learned. So we did.
How We Got Here
Our journey wasn't linear. We took detours, faced setbacks, and kept adjusting our approach based on what the market taught us.
2019: The Beginning
Three traders met at a finance conference in Seoul. We realized we all shared the same frustration with educational content that felt disconnected from actual market conditions. Started meeting weekly to study trend patterns.
2021: Going Public
After two years of refining our methods, we launched flowchainnet. The first cohort had 12 students. We kept it small because we wanted to actually help people, not just scale quickly. Most of those original students still trade with our approach today.
2025: Still Learning
Markets change. What worked in 2022 doesn't always work now. We update our curriculum based on current trends and our own trading experience. Every course reflects what we're actually doing with our own capital.
What Makes Us Different
- We Trade What We Teach Every strategy in our courses comes from our actual trading. If it's not in our portfolio, it's not in our curriculum. This keeps us honest and relevant.
- No Promises About Returns We won't tell you how much money you'll make. Markets are unpredictable. What we can teach is how to read trends, manage risk, and make informed decisions. The rest depends on factors beyond anyone's control.
- Small Group Focus Our programs cap at 20 students per session. This isn't scalable, but it works. You get direct access to instructors who remember your name and your specific questions from last week.
- Real Market Conditions We use live market data in our sessions. Sometimes that means watching a trend fail in real time. Those moments teach more than any textbook example ever could.
Who Teaches Here
Our instructors are active traders who've been through bull markets, bear markets, and everything in between. They teach because they genuinely enjoy helping people understand this stuff.
Dae-Jung Kang
Started trading in 2014. Spent three years losing money before figuring out a consistent approach. Now focuses on teaching pattern recognition and risk management to students in Gyeonggi-do.
Hye-Rin Baek
Traded professionally for a Seoul firm before joining flowchainnet in 2022. Specializes in helping students understand market sentiment and timing. Known for breaking down complex concepts into practical steps.
Common Questions About Our Approach
People often ask us similar things at different stages. Here's what we hear most often, organized by when you're likely to wonder about it.
Do I need trading experience? Not necessarily. About half our students are complete beginners. The other half have tried trading but want a more structured approach.
How much time does this take? Plan on 6-8 hours per week during the program. More if you want to practice outside of sessions.
What if I fall behind? Sessions are recorded. Most students rewatch key sections at least once. We also have weekly office hours for catch-up questions.
Will I be ready to trade after this? You'll have the foundational knowledge. But becoming consistently profitable takes practice beyond the course timeline.
Do you offer ongoing support? Alumni can join our monthly market reviews and access updated course materials. We also have a community channel for questions.
What if markets change significantly? We update our approach based on current conditions. Alumni get notified when we revise strategies or add new modules.
What's the next program start date? Our autumn 2025 cohort begins in September. Spring 2026 registration opens in November 2025.
How do I know if this fits my schedule? Sessions run Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7-9 PM Korea time. All sessions are recorded if you need to watch asynchronously.
